Our Meetings
Sundays
Monthly Sundays, Starting in Summer 2025!
From April 2025 we will be meeting one Sunday afternoon a month at Hare Street Primary School,
Little Grove Field, Harlow CM19 4BU
from 3:30-5pm.
Dates are 11th May, 15th June and 13th July
There is parking at the school so once you have parked up look for the sign pointing in by the gate, and look for one of us who will welcome and show you the way in through the main hall where there will be refreshments.
During this gathering there will be a time of worship, a message from the Bible, updates on our journey and the opportunity to meet other people who God is knitting together into our new expression of His people in our town of Harlow.
At present we don’t have planned sessions for young people though do have some amongst us. This is something we’d love to add asap so if this is something you would like to help with or you have children please do send us a message.
Any questions please do contact us on the link below and we’ll do our utmost to answer.
Mondays
At present we meet every Monday and these revolve around Discovery Bible Study with food for those who want it first alongside a time of worship and prayer.
If you’ve not come across Discovery Bible Study before it’s a great way of opening God’s Word together as we read a passage, often in different translations, retell the passage and then discuss 4 main questions
What does the passage say about God?
What does the passage say about people?
If this is God’s Word how will I obey it?
Who am I going to tell about it?
Please do get in contact with us for more details, addresses etc or simply to have a chat or coffee to find out more before you come along. Find out more about what we are studying on Mondays here.
What’s Happening
As Spring has arrived in the UK bringing with it the signs of new life we as a group have also felt God birthing new things in and through us especially as we look forward to our first meetings at Hare Street School!
It has been a time of new connections and re-connections in and around Harlow as we believe God is positioning us to see His Kingdom advanced.
Romans Chapter 5 says
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
At Easter we remember the sacrifice Jesus paid so that no matter what we have thought, done - no matter how confused, anxious, uncertain you and I may feel we can know that God is for us, God wants to know us and that God has made a way for us to be able to know Him.
If you are new to Harlow, exploring the ‘WHY?’ of life, looking for a place to belong and be part of a new community then please either come along on Sunday 11th May or drop us an email or even do both!
